Creation Global
Dance became a significant part of my life at Georgia Tech. Currently, I am a member of Creation Global. To use their own words:
“Creation Global is an international Chicago Footwork dance crew with over 70 members worldwide. Our crew is dedicated to the performance and preservation of Chicago-based African-American art forms, development of the next generation of leaders and artists, and building global connections to strengthen our multicultural movement. Creation Global teaching artists serve as cultural ambassadors for Chicago dance and music, uplifting and unifying artists globally through positive educational experiences. Wilmette Institute
I currently have the privilege of serving with the Wilmette Institute on their Campus Initiative project, which aims to elevate conversations for university students around the country.
From their website:
We are an educational institution that draws upon the principles of the Bahá’í Faith to inspire sustained social change for the common good. Our courses are designed to explore individual and collective transformation by empowering students to advance a more just and peaceful society.

Jazz Piano
Although I grew up being classically trained in music, I have always wanted to pick up improvisation and jazz in my life, which is why I recently started practicing it. I like listening to Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson, and Ryo Fukui.
